Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available in Westerville, OH, serving elementary and non-public parochial schools. This contract role offers a consistent schedule of 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, with three days spent at an elementary school and two days at a non-public parochial school during the school year (CSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide intervention strategies.
- Monitor student progress and provide counseling or referral services as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Ohio Department of Education guidelines and maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs and promote a positive educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Ohio School Psychologist license.
- Meet all requirements set forth by the Ohio Department of Education.
- Experience working within school settings, preferably with elementary-aged students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support students and school staff.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
