The Receptionist is the first point of contact for the company, delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive, welcoming experience for callers and visitors. This role also supports our office operations and provides administrative assistance, ensuring smooth day-to-day functions. Additionally, the Receptionist plays a key role in planning and coordinating employee events and engagement initiatives that boost morale and strengthen team cohesion. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, personable, and skilled at communication and office technology, with a passion for fostering a positive workplace environment.

Requirements:

  • Answer telephone promptly and with a courteous greeting
  • Triage calls to assess urgency and the appropriate way to direct call
  • Take and relay messages for non-urgent calls via message slip or email
  • Maintain knowledge of the company and employees so that calls are handled expeditiously
  • Handle calls and information received with discretion
  • Assist callers by providing general information
  • Manage a variety of administrative and office coordination responsibilities, including departmental support, data entry, and project assistance.
  • Drive employee engagement by planning and executing programs and events that enhance morale, build organizational cohesion, and align with company values, ensuring all initiatives are delivered within budget
  • Other general office duties as required
