Position Overview
Intuitive Machines is seeking a highly capable Treasury & Risk Management Specialist to own and manage the daily operations of our treasury function and enterprise risk activities across all legal entities and banking platforms. This position will report to the Assistant Corporate Controller and serve as a key partner to internal stakeholders and external financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in corporate treasury and insurance risk management, thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a high degree of autonomy, reliability, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day corporate treasury operations, including cash management, forecasting and liquidity planning.
- Serve as administrator for all banking platforms and maintain corporate banking relationships.
- Prepare and review treasury reports, bank reconciliations and associated cash journal entries for month-end close.
- Prepare monthly bank covenant reports as required, to satisfy compliance requirements.
- Monitor and manage cash positions across multiple legal entities and platforms.
- Ensure timely execution of fund transfers, wire payments, and other banking transactions.
- Serve as the day to day liaison with insurance brokers to manage corporate insurance policies (general liability, D&O, cyber, property, etc.).
- Evaluate and respond to internal insurance-related inquiries and new policy requests.
- Support the annual insurance renewal process and ensure timely and complete submissions.
- Assist in processing and tracking insurance claims, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
- Stay informed of operational and business changes that could impact risk exposure and recommend coverage adjustments.
- Maintain proper documentation and internal controls over treasury and risk processes
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Support internal and external audits as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, insurance, or financial operations roles.
- Proven ability to independently manage bank administration, cash management, and insurance activities.
- Experience working with external financial institutions and insurance brokers.
- Strong understanding of financial risk principles and insurance policy types.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact with senior leadership and external partners effectively.
- Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial systems, and banking platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-growth, technical, or aerospace environment.
- Familiarity with public company financial processes and SOX controls.
- Exposure to enterprise risk management practices.
