Description
We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Team Leader. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of sales consultants to achieve targets and provide exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of 4-5 sales professionals to achieve sales targets and KPIs. This will involve close monitoring of enquiries, responses to clients, assisting/training with customer feedback/complaints/objections
- Provide ongoing support, coaching, training, and feedback to ensure continuous improvement and development of the team
- Responsible for monitoring the sales team administrative tasks to ensure accuracy within the required timelines i.e., balance dues, account query, margin reasons and refund processing
- Conduct regular 1:1s with team members
- Management of plans and systems to ensure a fun and rewarding team and company culture – with an objective of minimising staff turnover and maximising engagement
- Lead performance conversations with the support of the Sales Managers
- Monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement
- Drive a positive and high-performance culture within the team
- Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Achievement of team sales target, and other targets (volume, conversion, margin, response times, minimise errors etc)
- Achievement of individual sales targets and other key performance indicators (KPIs)
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the customer service or travel industry
- Proven experience in a sales role, with a strong ability to achieve targets
- Previous experience in a leadership or team lead role
- Proven expertise with the TREV system and other CRMs
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to inspire, motivate and support a team to achieve success
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs with strong industry knowledge
Benefits
Hours/Location: This is a permanent, full time 40 hour/week role, based in Wanaka, NZ
Days of work: Monday to Sunday rotating roster. Weekend work is mandatory
Salary: The salary for this role is from $55,000 - $65,000 plus sales based commission
