Job Description
We're seeking a Program Manager to step into a team with well-established customer
relationships with a DoD customer we’ve worked with for over 15 years providing
engineering system integration and logistics support for aviation meteorological
monitoring systems.
This role is perfect for someone with 3-4 years of DoD program experience who wants
to lead operations for highly technical DoD projects with ongoing mission-critical
requirements. You'll lead a team that integrates engineering, cybersecurity, and
technical help desk support capabilities in support of all fixed based weather systems
owned by the United States Air Force. You'll work alongside leaders that have the
experience and knowledge of what it takes to maintain exceptional CPARS ratings year
after year.
The preference is for the candidate to work in office, but this is negotiable.
This position requires government security clearance; you must be a US citizen
for consideration.
Qualifications
Your Primary Role:
You'll be managing day-to-day execution while leveraging our strong existing
relationships.
Core responsibilities include:
- Managing program execution and serving as our primary DoD liaison (with full support from leadership for major decisions)
- Coordinating our engineering, cybersecurity, help desk, and logistics teams to meet deliverables
- Running program reviews and status meetings with a customer who already trusts our team
- Maintaining program documentation through delegation and through individual contributions to ensure we meet all contract requirements
- Identifying opportunities to grow our relationships and projects with our DoD customer
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- US citizen with ability to obtain US Government Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field
- 3-4 years managing DoD programs (you know the basics of CDRLs, program reviews, and working with government customers)
- Understanding of DoD contract structure, FAR, and DFARS
- Solid communication skills - you can brief leadership and translate between engineers and customers
- Experience with standard PM tools (MS Project, Excel, etc.)
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active US Government Secret security clearance
- Experience as a direct supervisor/manager
- Experience with technical programs (engineering, systems integration,
- cybersecurity, or information technology)
- Exposure to ISO 9001, quality management systems, and/or formal configuration/change management

Compensation and Benefits:
Mesotech offers a comprehensive and generous benefits program including health insurance, PTO, and 401k. The base pay range for this position is $95 - $110k Annually DOE. Mesotech is an equal opportunity employer.
