Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time physical therapist opportunity is available at a K-8 charter school in Winston-Salem, NC, offering specialized support with competitive pay. This role focuses on providing physical therapy services to one student with the need for compensatory minutes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services tailored to the individual needs of one student.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to support student mobility and functional independence.
  • Collaborate with school staff to integrate therapy goals within the educational setting.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress.
  • Participate in service planning, including potential Extended School Year (ESY) services.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with experience working in school settings preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric physical therapy and compensatory therapy minutes.
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of school-aged children.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists.
  • Availability for a part-time schedule of approximately 5 or fewer hours per week.
