We are seeking an Engineering Test Technician to support our engineering team by testing, validating, and troubleshooting low- and high-power electronic systems.
Position Summary
The Engineering Test Technician will perform testing and validation of servo drive circuit boards, working closely with engineering to develop test plans and procedures. This role is ideal for a hands-on electronics professional who enjoys problem-solving, reading schematics, and contributing to product development in a collaborative engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform low- and high-power circuit board testing and validation for servo drives
- Read and analyze electrical schematics to test and troubleshoot circuit boards
- Utilize electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies
- Collaborate with engineering to develop, execute, and improve test plans and procedures
- Document test results and provide feedback to engineering teams
- Troubleshoot electronic failures and identify root causes
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and accuracy
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an Electronics Technician
- 2+ years of hands-on experience using electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)
- Strong ability to analyze and troubleshoot circuits using schematics
- Proficiency with computers and technical documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred / Desired Qualifications
- Experience with power electronics and power devices
- Familiarity with motor drives and motion control systems
- Experience testing high-voltage or high-current electronics
- Engineering degree or coursework (a plus)
- Strong curiosity and desire to learn new technologies
