Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and overseeing all functions within the unit or department during their assigned shift. Working alongside other management team members, the CNC directs, monitors, and assesses nursing care in line with established policies and procedures. They also serve as a resource for staff and exemplify a commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values, thereby enhancing the patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

Qualifications Required

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
  • Neonate Resuscitation certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
  • Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma is necessary.
