Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and patient service. As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient operations and enhance the overall patient experience.

Responsibilities:

• Room patients and do vitals
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
• Assist physician with thyroid biopsies
• Download glucose meters/insulin pumps/continuous glucose monitors
• Medication refills and updating medications in EHR
• Prior authorizations for medications
• Support medical administrative tasks such as managing patient flow
• Patient training on how to administer injectable samples
• Pull incoming faxes into patient charts

Experience:

• Strong background in patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times
• Familiarity with medical administrative support functions to enhance clinic operations
• Ability to work effectively within a team while also being self-motivated
