Sales Representative-Rio Pro Team

What You'll Do:

  • Be available for RioPro customers during a scheduled shift to answer inbound.
  • Participate in outreach activities to increase revenue with current and potential customers.
  • Work toward monthly and annual RioPro sales goals.
  • Participate in new customer acquisition activities.
  • Provide sales and customer service support to each customer (orders, quotes, basic product/process questions).
  • Drive sales for the customer segment and share the benefits of loyalty and marketing programs with customers.
  • Consult with customers via phone, chat, and email to identify their needs and how our products and services best serve those needs.
  • Handle customer inquiries in a friendly, timely, and professional manner to ensure excellent customer service experience.
  • Provide customers first and mid-level support for jewelry products or process questions and provide suggestions and solutions to help them make informed buying decisions.
  • Process customer orders using consultative sales.
  • Handle sales opportunities from quote to close.
  • Build customer relationships for the benefit of helping them grow.
  • Collaborate with teammates to recommend and create business process improvements.
  • Collaborate with linked teams on sales and/or marketing strategies
  • Engage in opportunities for ongoing training for jewelry-making products, processes, and techniques, as well as sales training and more in-depth cultural training.
  • Identify growth potential for our customers to ensure they get the best benefits Rio offers.


What You'll Need:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and a passion for going above and beyond to help customers grow their businesses.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to manage yourself and others within a participative management culture.
  • Ability to gather and analyze information to quickly understand the customer’s core issue or need and convey the solution.
  • Negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (HubSpot and SAP knowledge is a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to sell and achieve sales goals
  • Demonstrated ability to form strong customer relationships that enhance loyalty to the company.
  • Passion for learning and applying new skills, strong bias to action.
  • Excellent and highly effective verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience in jewelry bench skills is desired.
  • Knowledge of capital equipment products and processes is a plus
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency in a Windows/Microsoft Office-based environment and Internet navigation skills. Ability to work on multiple screens and multiple programs simultaneously.

  • Excellent listening skills
  • Understanding of sales account management


You will work an 8-hour shift during our normal hours of operation: Monday - Friday from 8 am – 5 pm. Our representatives enjoy a wide latitude in developing and providing solutions and help that best suit each customer’s needs, using their judgment within our principles. You will also receive two to three weeks of paid training, including initial system, product training, and general cultural knowledge.
