Job Description
As an HVAC Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. You will use your advanced technical skills to ensure that all systems operate efficiently and in accordance with industry standards and government regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial installation and start-up of complete systems, including components, electrical controls, and ducting.
- Assist in design, modification, installation, and preventive/predictive maintenance planning.
- Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
- Monitor HVAC systems and operations, ensuring routine preventative maintenance is performed according to established schedules.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, piping, and other system components.
- Repair and maintain other systems, including electrical malfunctions, and assembly, installation, and repair of machines, pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
- Alter, repair, and maintain buildings, floors, roofs, stairways, partitions, doors, windows, screens, scaffolding forms, wood fixtures, and furniture.
- Report suspected and confirmed problems to the immediate supervisor and input maintenance and repair actions into equipment logs.
Essential Skills
- Advanced technical skills in HVAC systems.
- Competent in electrical and general mechanical maintenance disciplines.
- Experience in troubleshooting, electrical, mechanical work, hand and power tools, electrical wiring, and schematics.
- Knowledge of industry standards and government regulations related to HVAC systems.
- Minimum 4-7 years of experience in HVAC maintenance.
- Possess a current and valid State of Oklahoma Driver License and required State and city licenses.
- Able to use safety equipment required by Title 29 CFR 1910.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 Year / Associate Degree or Technical school.
- Experience in commercial building maintenance and facility maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical/electrical issues and repair facility/building equipment.
- Applies advanced technical skills and knowledge in the installation, maintenance, and repair of ventilation and air conditioning systems.

Work Environment
The work environment involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The noise level can vary from loud to moderate. Physical demands include frequent walking, standing, using hands, stooping, kneeling, and occasional climbing of stairs. Must be able to work in excess of eight hours per day and five days per week if required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
