Gunster is seeking a highly organized Manager of eDiscovery Team Operations to support and optimize the firm’s eDiscovery workflows. This role focuses on project coordination, budgeting, process improvement, team support, and cross‐department collaboration. The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, experience in legal operations, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate operational projects supporting the eDiscovery team
· Manage engagement agreements, conflicts documentation, billing accuracy, and matter budgets
· Track project timelines, deliverables, risks, and scope changes
· Support resource allocation, training needs, and team communication
· Facilitate meetings, maintain project documentation, and manage calendars
· Collaborate with Finance, HR, Marketing, IT, and external stakeholders
· Improve workflows, identify automation opportunities, and ensure compliance with legal standards
· Manage legal technology platforms (iManage, Relativity, Quickbase) and create operational dashboards
· Assist with RFPs, pitches, and business development materials
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in project management or legal operations
· Experience managing multiple legal projects/matters in a law firm or legal‐services environment
· Strong understanding of legal billing, budgeting, and client guidelines
· Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‐solving skills
· Proficiency with legal tech platforms and project management tools
· High emotional intelligence and ability to work under pressure
Additional Details
· In‐office role with limited remote flexibility after strong performance is demonstrated
· Occasional evening/weekend work for urgent matters
· Travel up to 25%
