Job location: Houston, Texas

Job Type: Full time, onsite


Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced MRI Technologist to work full-time day shifts. This person will operate MRI machines to take detailed images of patients’ bodies that doctors use to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

This is a hands-on, in-hospital role (not remote work), and the MRI Tech will work 40 hours per week.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for MRI scans and explain the procedure
  • Safely position patients and operate the MRI scanner
  • Administer contrast dye when needed
  • Ensure images are high quality for the radiologist
  • Enter and monitor patient data
  • Perform basic quality checks on MRI equipment
  • Respond to urgent or emergency imaging needs
  • Follow all safety, compliance, and hospital protocols
  • Help train or mentor less-experienced staff
  • Participate in continuing education and skill development


Required Qualifications:

  • Completed an accredited radiologic technology program
  • Licensed in Texas as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (or has a temporary license)
  • Certified as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or ARMRIT)
  • Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS/ACLS) certification
  • MRI experience and is comfortable working independently
  • Can help lift and position patients safely
