Job Title: MRI Technologist

Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced MRI Technologist to work full-time day shifts. This person will operate MRI machines to take detailed images of patients’ bodies that doctors use to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
This is a hands-on, in-hospital role (not remote work), and the MRI Tech will work 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for MRI scans and explain the procedure
- Safely position patients and operate the MRI scanner
- Administer contrast dye when needed
- Ensure images are high quality for the radiologist
- Enter and monitor patient data
- Perform basic quality checks on MRI equipment
- Respond to urgent or emergency imaging needs
- Follow all safety, compliance, and hospital protocols
- Help train or mentor less-experienced staff
- Participate in continuing education and skill development
Required Qualifications:
- Completed an accredited radiologic technology program
- Licensed in Texas as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (or has a temporary license)
- Certified as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or ARMRIT)
- Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS/ACLS) certification
- MRI experience and is comfortable working independently
- Can help lift and position patients safely
