Step into a pivotal facilitator role supporting K-12 students near Spanish Fort, AL, as part of a contract assignment through the end of the school year (ASAP–May 22, 2026). Oversee the smooth delivery of virtual speech and communication therapy services across several private school campuses, aiding approximately 33 students. This is a flexible, 15-hour-per-week opportunity where your assistance directly impacts student support and engagement.
As the on-site liaison for virtual speech-language pathologists (SLPs), psychologists, and other remote clinicians, you will guide students through their scheduled online therapy sessions. Your presence ensures the technology runs seamlessly and that students receive the care they need. If you are tech-savvy, communicative, and eager to support diverse learners, you’ll thrive in this dynamic school setting.
What we’re seeking:
- Experience as a paraprofessional, speech aide, or school teacher
- Confident working in a K-12 environment with varying student needs
- Comfortable navigating technology and learning new systems (training provided)
- Skilled in communication and able to clearly share updates with all involved parties
- Must be 18 or older, a US citizen, and able to provide two professional references
- Flexible to move between multiple campuses as scheduled
- Ready for a fast-moving credentialing process and able to begin work quickly
Key responsibilities:
- Facilitate and support virtual therapy sessions for students with communication difficulties
- Assist with session technology setup and troubleshooting
- Serve as the hands-on connection between clinician and student
- Communicate promptly and clearly about any session needs or concerns
