Position: Radiation Therapist
Term: Permanent
Location: Southern New Mexico
Salary Range: $70,000 – $93,000
Experience Required: 3–5 years
Licensure/Certification: ARRT Certification and New Mexico License required

Responsibilities:
- Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and correctly for treating neoplastic diseases and other therapeutic purposes.
 - Perform high-quality radiation therapy procedures according to protocols and physician instructions.
 - Conduct pretreatment preparations, including simulations and fabrication of treatment devices.
 - Perform daily morning quality assurance checks on linear accelerators and CT simulators.
 - Use EMR systems to document treatment delivery, patient positioning, and care coordination details.
 - Schedule patients for simulation and treatment sessions.
 - Be flexible and available for on-call procedures if needed.
 - Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
 - Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
 - Provide compassionate care, patient support, and procedure explanations to ensure comfort.
 - Remain calm and solution-focused during high-pressure situations.
 
Requirements:
- Current ARRT Certification
 - New Mexico Radiation Therapy License
 - 3–5 years of experience in radiation therapy
 - Strong interpersonal and communication skills
 - Ability to adapt to various clinical situations and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
