We're a growing community-based provider serving the District of Columbia and we're looking for a Clinical Director who's ready to lead, innovate and help us shape the next chapter of behavioral health care in our community.

What You'll Do
As our Clinical Director, you'll be the clinical heartbeat of the organization. You'll lead our multidisciplinary team, ensure top-quality care delivery, and partner with our CEO and leadership team to grow our programs and impact. Your work will directly shape outcomes for the consumers we serve.
Key areas of focus:
- Lead the clinical team: supervise, coach, and develop staff while fostering a positive, accountable and inclusive culture
- Ensure clinical excellence: oversee assessments, treatment planning, case review and clinical documentation across the program
- Own compliance and quality: keep us aligned with DBH regulations, accreditation standards, HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, and lead our QI activities
- Leverage technology: optimize our Credible EHR, drive data-informed decisions and champion modern tools that make clinicians' lives easier
- Drive growth: partner with leadership on strategy, program development and community engagement
- Support the workforce: train and retain a talented clinical team alongside HR
What You'll Bring
Required:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy
- Active, unrestricted DC license: LICSW, LPC, or LMFT (in good standing)
- 5+ years of post-licensure clinical experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong Credible EHR proficiencyyou can document, configure workflows, run reports, and train staff
- Solid experience navigating DC DBH regulations and behavioral health compliance
- Comfort with data, dashboards, and using technology to improve clinical operations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience implementing or optimizing an EHR
- Background in Medicaid-funded programs (MHRS)
