MUST HAVE LATHE EXPERIENCE, SET UP & OPERATOR
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform machine setups quickly, accurately, and efficiently.

Collaborate with engineering and CAM programming teams to develop and improve CNC programs.

Design and fabricate fixtures for parts of varying complexity.

Advise supervisor and programming team on technical advancements to enhance production.

Operate CNC machines for production runs of parts.
-
Maintain quality standards by adhering to the Quality Management System.

Monitor and document operational and performance issues, providing feedback to the supervisor.
-
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisors, and staff.

Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
-
High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary CNC education preferred.

8+ years of CNC machine operation experience.

Proficiency in G & M code fluency and the ability to edit programs.

High-level blueprint reading skills.
-
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
-
Strong understanding of machine programming, setup, and operation.
-
Familiarity with precision measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
-
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and technical issues.
-
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
