Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position: Full-time, onsite and open to virtual
Dates: ASAP June 2026

Overview:
We are seeking a Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year! This is a full-time, onsite role serving students in grades 35 across assigned school buildings. The district is specifically looking for a candidate certified in the Wilson Reading System.

Responsibilities:

• Lead instruction in a self-contained elementary special education classroom

• Implement IEPs and document student progress

• Provide individualized academic and behavioral support

• Modify curriculum and instructional materials as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching License for the state of Massachusetts

• Wilson Reading System Certification

• Experience working with elementary students preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
