Who We Are: Welcome to Lifepoint Rehabilitation, formerly known as Towanda Memorial Hospital! We are a proud satellite campus of Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, located just 17 miles north in Sayre, PA. Since joining Guthrie in April 2015, we have been dedicated to serving Bradford and Sullivan counties, providing accessible clinical services and long-term care through our skilled nursing unit and personal care home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' abilities to perform daily tasks and create personalized care plans tailored to their unique goals.
• Deliver hands-on treatment using therapeutic techniques and adaptive modalities to promote strength and independence.
• Document each patient's progress through measurable outcomes and insightful observations.
• Continuously reassess treatment plans, collaborating with colleagues to ensure optimal care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on functional deficits, providing practical tools for success at home.
• Support discharge planning by recommending adaptive equipment and connecting patients with community resources.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to OT assistants and techs, ensuring compliance with professional standards.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (Required)
• State Licensure for Occupational Therapy
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
