The Extended Day Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for planning enrichment activities for the Extended Day Program for grades K1-6th. The Enrichment Coordinator provides Extended Day students in grades K1-6th with the opportunity to engage in educational and recreational enrichment activities that expose youth to new learning experiences beyond the traditional curriculum. Must be very reliable, self-motivated, and a good role model.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with Director of Extended Day & Enrichment.
- Maintain positive relationships with school staff including Heads of School, secretaries, teachers, custodians, and any staff of key importance to the Extended Day Program.
- Develop yearlong enrichment planning with quarterly enrichment schedule planned and preapproved by the Director of Extended Day & Enrichment. Adjustments made when requested in a timely manner.
- Differentiate content by grade level to ensure that activities are developmentally appropriate.
- Collaborate with Extended Day staff to create enrichment activities.
- Update and maintain an online enrichment schedule that outlines daily and weekly activities.
- Provide activity plans to the Director of Extended Day & Enrichment a minimum of one week prior to the scheduled enrichment activity. Activity plans include objectives, materials, and procedures.
- Anticipate logistical needs for planned activities.
- Assess the effectiveness of the enrichment activity by gathering feedback from Extended Day students and staff.
- Available to work 5 hours/week in person during after school hours.
- Work Location Time will be split 70/30 based on enrollment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Successfully pass background checks
- Ability to plan, organize and implement age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities
- Experience in youth program development
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred

Status: Part-time starting Monday, August 18, 2025. All holidays and school vacations are off (maximum of 5 hours/week)
