As a Server, you will play a vital role in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for ensuring that guests are well taken care of from the moment they arrive until their departure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete Colonial House menu training as required.
- Prepare and clean dining areas before guests are seated.
- Present menus, entre, and drink specials; assist customers in selecting food and beverages in a pleasant manner.
- Take orders and serve food promptly and professionally.
- Answer questions and make recommendations upon guest request.
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
- Remove dirty dishes and utensils from tables before and after guests leave.
- Handle complaints or problems with a positive attitude.
- Alert management of any guest concerns or issues immediately.
- Issue bills, accept, and process payments.
- Thank guests upon their departure.
- Clean tables and seating areas after guests leave, including the floor.
- Maintain health and safety regulations within the dining room and kitchen.
- Work well with dining room and kitchen staff.
- Perform assigned side work.
- Be a team player and assist with other duties as needed.
- Successfully pass Alcohol Safety Training within 30 days of hire.
