Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical night shift position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and active MO or Compact RN licensure.
Details
- Hospital Medical/Surgical unit setting
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Floating to other units is required
- Call responsibilities are required
- Weekend work is required
- 50% of holidays occurring during the contract must be worked
- Cerner charting experience is preferred
Requirements
- Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses)
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with at least 1 year in a Med/Surg setting
- Must be able to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced travel pay rate
- This is an active role in a 24/7 healthcare facility with frequent patient contact, including those with contagious illnesses
