We are seeking qualified candidates for both Aircraft Inspector II and Aircraft Inspector III positions. These roles involve inspecting aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts to ensure airworthiness and conformance to manufacturer specifications and government regulations. Both positions are safety-sensitive and require a commitment to precision, documentation, and adherence to strict safety protocols.


Candidates with a background in military electronics maintenance, testing, and quality control—such as experience gained as a U.S. Navy Interior Communications Electrician—will find strong alignment with these roles.


Shared Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Inspect aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts to verify airworthiness and compliance with manufacturer specifications and government regulations
  • Identify breaches of standards for airworthiness
  • Document discrepancies clearly and accurately
  • Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to guide inspection work
  • Maintain orderly work areas and adhere strictly to safety protocols
  • Inspecting, handling, or transporting explosives or hazardous materials
  • Inspecting structures, equipment, or vehicles
  • Performing aviation-related duties
  • Operating or supervising vehicles, heavy or dangerous equipment, or machinery


Required Skills

  • Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent


Aircraft Inspector II Must-Haves

  • Active FAA Airframe (A), Powerplant (P), or Repairman Certificate
  • Experience with aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts
  • Basic understanding of audit and inspection processes and procedures
  • Active FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts
  • Understanding and experience with practical application of product audit and inspection processes and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military
  • Exposure to aviation maintenance and/or inspection operations processes and procedures
  • Basic understanding of 14 CFR Chapter 1
  • Understanding of civil or government aviation inspection operations and/or FAA Repair Station operations
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation
