Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Cloquet, MN, supporting students across various grade levels. This role involves providing direct speech and language therapy services aimed at improving students' communication skills and facilitating their educational development.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participating in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contributing to goal setting
- Traveling between schools or locations as needed to deliver services
Desired qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to travel between sites within the district or region
