Shift: Night Shift – 4x10 Hour Shifts (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: Minnesota, United States

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare team at an acute care teaching hospital. The MRI Tech will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to imaging protocols. The ideal candidate will have experience in multiple MRI specialties including neurological, musculoskeletal, abdominal, and vascular imaging.

Shift Details

  • Schedule: 4x10 hour night shifts

  • Shift Time: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM

  • Days: Monday – Thursday

  • Weekend Requirement: None

  • On-Call Requirement: None

Requirements

  • Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required

  • First-time travelers: Accepted

  • Certifications Required:

    • ARRT (R) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

    • BLS – Basic Life Support

  • Magnetic Resonance Cholangiopancreatography (MRCP)

  • Chest MRI imaging

Head & Neck

  • Brain MRI

  • Cranial Nerves

  • Orbits

  • Face / Soft Tissue Neck

  • Head MRA / MRV

  • Neck MRV

Musculoskeletal

  • Foot

  • Hand

  • Hip / Bony Pelvis

  • Knee

  • Shoulder

  • Sternum

  • Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) with/without contrast

  • Upper & Lower Extremity Long Bones

Spine

  • Cervical

  • Thoracic

  • Lumbar

  • Sacrum / Coccyx

  • Spinal Trauma

  • Thoracic MRA

Special Imaging Procedure Experience

  • Diffusion Imaging (non-brain)

  • Gradient Echo Imaging

  • Image Post-Processing (ADC Mapping, Subtraction)

  • Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP)

  • Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR)

  • Perfusion Imaging

  • Peripheral Magnetic Resonance Angiography (Iliac / Runoff)

  • Spin Echo Imaging

  • Surface Coil Imaging

  • T1-Weighted & T2-Weighted Imaging

Technical & Clinical Skills

  • Preparation and administration of contrast media

  • Starting peripheral IV lines

  • Radiation safety protocols

  • Isolation precautions

  • PACS imaging systems

  • MRI equipment experience (Siemens preferred)
