NOW HIRING!! A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist. This role offers career growth, a supportive work environment, and full-time hours (40+ per week). The Pharmacist will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a home and community-based setting. This role focuses on assessment, care coordination, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes for patients with complex needs.
PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Warwick, RI 02888 – 100% On-site
- Payrate: $64.27/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 9:30am to 6pm
PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accept, verify, and dispense prescription medications
- Ensure all medications are dispensed in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Monitor patient medication compliance and identify potential overuse or interactions
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Counsel patients on prescription and non-prescription medications, including usage, storage, side effects, and interactions
- Provide patient education on medical devices such as glucose meters and blood pressure monitors
- Prepare and compound medications, including sterile solutions, following proper procedures
- Supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels of pharmaceutical and medical supplies
- Identify and resolve drug-related problems in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and pharmacy interns to support patient care
PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Active, unrestricted state Pharmacist license
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
