Job Summary
RetireReady Solutions® is seeking a full-time Customer Support Specialist to provide high-quality support to customers using our software. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, solving problems, learning new technology, and building strong customer relationships.
The Customer Support Specialist will assist customers by phone, email, and web conference, helping them troubleshoot issues, use product features, and gain confidence with our software. This position also includes documenting customer interactions, identifying product issues, and sharing feedback with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer questions promptly and accurately by phone and email
- Troubleshoot software issues and guide customers through solutions
- Help customers use specific product features effectively
- Provide software training through web conferencing
- Research customer issues and walk users through corrective steps
- Test different scenarios and new releases to identify and report product malfunctions
- Document technical issues and customer discussions in the CRM
- Share feature requests, workarounds, and recurring issues with team members
- Inform customers about new features and functionality
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved
- Gather customer feedback and communicate insights to product, sales, and marketing teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and self-motivated work style
- Experience in customer support or a similar role
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Patience and professionalism when assisting frustrated customers
- Experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce
- Experience with remote support tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Familiarity with financial services is a plus
