We’re seeking a skilled Automation Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, mechanical/electrical systems, and be able to perform hands-on maintenance in a manufacturing or chemical plant environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair automated equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).

Conduct routine and preventative maintenance.

Document maintenance activities using CMMS.

Report and correct safety hazards; participate in incident reviews.

Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis to reduce downtime.

Create and update technical documentation (schematics, SOPs, manuals).

Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA standards.
Minimum Qualifications:

3+ years of automation or industrial maintenance experience.

Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.

Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and computer interfaces (Microsoft Suite, SAP).

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and equipment manuals.

Willingness to work weekends/shutdowns as needed.

Must be 18+ and capable of lifting 50+ lbs with assistance.
Preferred Qualifications:

Technical degree or certifications in Mechatronics or Engineering.

Maintenance experience in a chemical processing plant.

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Ability to lead or train others in predictive maintenance.
Physical Requirements:
-
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift regularly.

Comfortable working in loud, hot, or dusty environments.

Able to operate lifts and work at heights up to 30 feet.
Pay Details: $31.00 per hour
