Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT) with experience in school-based settings to support K-12 students. This contract position, based in Church Rock, NM, offers the chance to work within an educational environment dedicated to helping children develop essential skills for academic and personal success throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic services to students across K-12 grades to enhance their functional abilities in school activities.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Assess student needs and monitor progress through regular documentation and reporting.
• Modify therapy interventions to meet the diverse needs of the student population.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and school district guidelines.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a COTA or license as an OT with school-based experience.
• Knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques and educational environments.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
