Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This travel Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunity is based in Beaufort, South Carolina, serving elementary and middle school students across two campuses. The assignment runs from February through June and follows a Monday to Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week. This position offers a dynamic environment to support students’ developmental and functional needs within a school setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations and delivering individual and group OT services to students
- Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to each child’s goals
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining accurate records
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the educational planning process
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure suitable for school practice
- Experience working with elementary and middle school populations
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication skills and flexibility in a travel assignment setting
- Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and educational regulations
