Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is based in Mount Holly, NJ, supporting a 1st grade in-class resource room. The assignment runs from August 29 through November 6 and is designed for educators passionate about making a meaningful impact on young learners with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored special education instruction within a 1st grade classroom setting.
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and related service personnel.
- Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes student growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid New Jersey Special Education teaching license preferred.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in resource room or inclusion settings.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and best instructional practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with paraeducators and other support staff.
