Job Description

Infection Control Nurse (LPN/RN)

We are seeking a dedicated LPN or RN to lead our infection prevention and control efforts. This role involves developing, implementing, and managing our infection control program, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain infection control policies and procedures.
Conduct infection surveillance and analyze data to identify trends.
Provide infection control education and training to staff.
Oversee isolation protocols and ensure appropriate patient care.
Ensure compliance with CDC, OSHA, and state/local regulations.
Participate in infection control committee meetings.

Requirements:

Active LPN or RN license in Tennessee.
2+ years of infection control experience within a long-term care environment.
Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.
CPR certification.
Bachelor's degree in nursing.
