Position: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN)
Location: Eglin AFB, FL
Reports To: TBD
Schedule: Monday–Friday, between 0630–1630 (40 hours/week, schedule may vary)
Summary:
The LPN/LVN provides direct outpatient nursing support to the 96th Medical Group at Eglin AFB. Responsibilities include delivering safe and effective patient care, administering medications and treatments, assisting with diagnostic procedures, and supporting overall clinic operations. The LPN/LVN will work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality healthcare delivery in accordance with Air Force Medical Service standards.
Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma/GED; graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Licensure: Current, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in any U.S. state/jurisdiction.

Certification: BLS (hands-on, AHA or Red Cross). STABLE and NRP required for infant care (training provided if applicable).

Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent (within past 24 months) inpatient or outpatient nursing experience.

Skills: Proficient in patient assessment, medication administration, electronic medical systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
Key Duties:

Provide direct patient care and education under clinical supervision.

Recognize and respond to urgent/emergent situations appropriately.

Prepare and assist in diagnostic procedures and treatments.

Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).

Support new staff orientation and ongoing quality improvement.

Participate in professional development and clinic meetings.
Additional Information:
LPNs may be assigned to various outpatient clinics or Occupational Health services within the 96th MDG.
Scheduled shifts are Monday through Friday between the hours of 0630-1630
