Job DescriptionJob Title: Mechanical Technician or Cable Technician
We are seeking experienced industrial or commercial technicians for a 6 week install project at Amazon in Liverpool, NY. This role requires being on your feet for 8-10 hours per day, heavy lifting, and working in a team setting to assemble and install automation and robotic industrial equipment.
Project start: 9/22/25 to 11/1/2025
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm with some mandatory Saturdays
Pay: $24/hr
Compliance: Drug test (doesn't test for THC); strict 7-year background check; online safety certification (40-minutes); online orientation (30 minutes)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing mechanical systems, managing cables, and working with various tools within a large warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Install chutes, mechanical systems, and HMIs using hand and power tools.
- Work at heights of up to 6 feet following blueprints and standard operating procedures without deviation.
- Manage cables by installing interfaces and working with both large and small parts.
- Perform wiring tasks and ensure quality assurance in all installations and repairs.
- Engage in general production, assembly, and troubleshooting activities.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and be mechanically inclined.
- Experience in installation, repair, and assembly tasks.
- Understanding of blueprints and quality assurance processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with extensive physical labor and installation work.
- Excellent attendance record.
Work Environment
- Work inside a large warehouse with numerous moving parts,
- The dress code includes steel-toe shoes, jeans, and a work shirt.
- Work hours are Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays, for 8-10 hours per day.

Logistical Techs- Excel masters and inventory specialists $22/hr
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
