Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity offers a dynamic role as a Cath Lab Tech supporting cardiac catheterization and vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. The position involves working closely with cardiologists and vascular physicians in a multi-room lab utilizing advanced technology such as balloon pumps, Impella, IVUS, iFR/FFR, as well as performing TAVR, PFO closures, Watchman device placements, EKOs, and atherectomy with CSI, RotaPro, and laser systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cardiac electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures by preparing equipment and patients, operating monitoring devices, and collecting diagnostic data
- Ensure a safe, electronically and radiologically compliant lab environment
- Monitor patient condition, make quick, accurate decisions using multiple data sources including ECG interpretation
- Administer medications and calculate dosages as required
- Manage lab supplies using FIFO method and support accurate billing processes
- Maintain and operate complex electrical and recording equipment
- Collaborate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and medical personnel
- Work flexible schedules including MondayFriday with at least 14 days of call coverage (which may include weekends)
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- RCIS certification required
- Vocational/Technical degree or accredited Electrophysiology program; Bachelors degree preferred
- Solid analytical skills to interpret cardiac data and make clinical decisions
- Ability to operate advanced cath lab equipment and assist in multiple procedure types
- BLS and ACLS certification mandatory
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to varying workloads
- Capacity to lift and position patients safely
Additional Details:
- Work occurs in a high-tech lab environment with 3-4 rooms (Cath, Vascular, EP, Hybrid) outfitted with GE and Siemens machines
- Typical case volume: 4-8 Cath procedures daily, with occasional increases up to 12-16 procedures
- The role includes rotating call and flexible shift coverage
- Local candidates receive a preferred consideration adjustment
