An experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse is needed for an intensive 13-week contract role starting immediately in Lees Summit, MO. Key responsibilities include delivering expert emergency care during 12-hour night shifts, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and utilizing Cerner electronic health records for accurate and timely patient documentation. Precision in life-saving interventions and adherence to hospital protocols are critical.
Candidate qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an ER Registered Nurse
- Current RN license in Missouri or compact state eligibility
- Proficiency in Cerner charting system (mandatory)
- Previous travel RN experience is required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Current certifications: American Heart Association ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC
- Ability to pass an EKG exam with at least 80% accuracy on lethal rhythms during orientation
- No block scheduling; must be available for every other weekend
- CPI certification required starting January 2026
Schedule:
- Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:45 07:15)
- Every other weekend required
- Orientation begins Tuesday, immediate start
