DIRECT HIRE, FULL TIME OPPORTUNITY!

Dean's Professional Services has partnered with Boston Scientific to hire qualified EKG Monitor Technicians in Santa Clara, CA. This position is responsible for the interpretation and reporting of EKG data received for patients wearing company monitoring devices to assist physicians in diagnosing the patients.

  • REQUIRED: Formal EKG education such as a certificate from a school or third-party certification

This Telemetry tech position is an in-office role. The job is located at 2755 Great America Way, Santa Clara, CA. There's several openings and referrals are welcome!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process, analyze, interpret and edit EKG data
  • Collect recordings and patient symptoms as needed
  • Facilitate activation of EMS, if indicated
  • Accurately document actions taken within patient records
  • Facilitate orders for monitors and supplies
  • Obtain patient transmissions and related symptoms
  • Recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms/symptoms, and clearly communicate information to appropriate team member
  • Ensure customer enrollment is entered correctly
  • Address questions and educate patients, practices, and sales staff
  • Fax serious and critical reports to practices and hospitals as requested
  • Retain information that is job specific such as safety regulations and current policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • REQUIRED:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • EKG Certification: Formal EKG education such as a certificate from a school or third-party certification
  • PREFERRED:
  • CET (Certified EKG Technician) - offered at some colleges and community colleges
  • CCT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)
  • CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)
  • One year work experience preferred

REQUIRED:

  • You must be available to work one of the scheduled shifts.
  • There are no accommodations for specific days or times off.
  • Training is 6 - 8 weeks long, during the day on weekdays.
  • You must be available to work the entire scheduled training shift.

Job Details:

  • This position is not a temporary or contract opportunity, position is working directly for Boston Scientific upon completion of onboarding.
  • Shifts available: Day shift: 6:00am-4:30pm; Flex option: 8:00am-6:30pm; Flex option: 10:00am-8:30pm
  • Salary: starting at $22/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Bonus: Certification bonus available: CCT or CRAT certified: $2,000-paid out at 1 year; If acquire a CCT certification within 1 year of hire- $2500 bonus paid out $1,000 at 90 days and $1,500 at 1 year
