Hiring for a Radiology Tech in Plymouth,MA.
Schedule: Open to considering full-time hours or per diem day shifts.
Pay Rate: $40-50/hr (based on experience)
Excellent opportunity for an X-Ray Technologist to work in a multi-site, fast paced orthopedic practice. We are looking for a:
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Person who recognizes the importance of outstanding customer service
- Performs x-rays ordered by the Provider to help diagnose a variety of medical problems
- Communicates effectively with all types of patients to gain their understanding and cooperation with radiographic testing
- Prepares radiographic equipment
- Positions patients correctly
- Accurately captures the requested diagnostic image by setting the appropriate technique to obtain the best density, detail and contrast of the area being imaged
- Takes preventative steps to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation
- Wears appropriate RAD badge at all times
Position Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program is required
- Ability to initiate and complete tasks related to job duties without direct supervisor
- Ability to work well with others and be willing to help when needed
- Ability to multi-task with patients and other responsibilities
Education: Associate's Degree
Licenses:
- CPR required
- Massachusetts state licensure in Radiography is required
- ARRT required
