Job Description
Express is hiring a Yard Truck Driver with a valid Class A Driver's License for a food processing company in New Orleans.
Pay: $17 - $22 / hour
Job Summary:
<ul>
<li>Driving manual transmission yard truck and yard mule to carry metal containers</li>
<li>Moving 20-30 containers daily</li>
<li>Hooking up the metal containers and leveling them out</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>At least 2 years of experience driving a terminal truck (yard truck, yard dog, mule)</li>
<li>At least 2 years of experience hauling metal cargo containers</li>
<li>Valid Class A Driver's License</li>
<li>Experience backing up in tight spaces</li>
<li>TWIC card preferred but not required</li>
</ul>
Weekly rotating schedule:
<ul>
<li>Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM, then rotates to 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM the next week</li>
<li>Overtime as needed</li>
</ul>
