Job Title: Steel Erector Technician
Job Description
The primary function of the Steel Erector Technician is to install steel beams, steel girders, and columns to create frames for sheet metal roofing structures. The role involves ground work, steel framing installation, and preparation for roofing.
Responsibilities
- Install steel beams, girders, and columns.
- Create frames for sheet metal roofing structures.
- Perform ground work related to steel erection.
- Prepare structures for roofing installations.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in sheet metal and steel erection.
- Experience with metal trim and structural steel.
- Knowledge of pre-engineered steel buildings.
- Ability to operate boom lifts and scissor lifts.
- Experience with steel girders, steel columns, and welding.
- Sheet metal assembly skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with pre-engineered metal buildings.
- 2+ years of experience in sheet metal installation and steel erection.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Boom lift, scissor lift, and construction forklift certifications are a plus but not required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
