Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A new opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support K-12 students during the current school year. This contract position is based in Lees Summit, MO, and is ideal for professionals passionate about contributing to the academic and emotional success of students in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12 to identify learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support student well-being
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to create effective strategies for student success
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in pliance with legal and ethical guidelines
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license for the state
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, psychological assessment tools, and intervention strategies
- Excellent munication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively under contract terms during the current school year
