Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure (required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working in educational settings preferred
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic school environments
- Willingness to relocate as needed for the assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ progress
- Document and track student performance and therapy sessions to ensure compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expert recommendations for student care
- Deliver services individually and in group settings, tailoring interventions to each student’s goals
