Progressive Eyecare, located in South Jordan, UT, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Eye Care Assistant to join our team part-time. WHAT ARE THE HOURS?
This part-time healthcare position requires evening and Saturday availability. The schedule is as follows:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 am–6:30 pm
- Friday: 8:00 am–5:00 pm
- Saturday: 8:00 am–3:00 pm
WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?
As our Clinical Eye Care Assistant, you'll be the friendly face that welcomes patients, gathers their medical history, and prepares them for vision exams. You'll perform preliminary eye tests, assist the optometrist during specialized procedures, and help ensure each patient receives attentive, high-quality care. Your role is essential in creating a smooth, supportive experience from check-in to check-out.
IS THIS THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU?
- High school degree or equivalent
- English fluency, but Spanish fluency is a plus!
- Computer proficiency and typing skills
- Ability to work on your feet throughout your shift
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work Saturdays and some evenings
Eye care or medical assisting experience would be preferred, but we will train the right person.
