Service Technician

Job description:
A Service Technician will service all clients across the United States with service, installation, training & replacement parts on grain sampling equipment in the Agricultural Industry.
This position will also include occasional operations of the warehouse here in Kettering, OH.
Client provides service & reliable machinery for the grain industry with experienced technicians and top brands to ensure peak performance and longevity.
Key Duties (Include but will not be limited to):
Performing PM oil changes
Perform other services on grain sampling equipment
Diagnose equipment failures
Conducting installations for equipment
Providing parts to customers
Communicating with clients
Operating a forklift and manlift
Proficient in operating power tools
Occasional refurbishing of used equipment
Education & Experience:
High School Education or Equivalent (GED)
1-3 years of experience in service technician duties, including hydraulics.
Skills & Qualifications:
Preferred to be knowledgeable and proficient in using power tools
Preferred to have forklift certification
Preferred to have certification in operating lift equipment (MEWP)
OSHA 30 preferred but not required
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Time management & organizational skills
Being focused & maintaining attention to detail
Ability to be resourceful and exhibit effective problem-solving skills
Self-motivation skills
Meet the physical strength & agility and environmental (weather) requirements to do the job on the ground as well as at heights
Perform well in high pressure scenarios
Position Details:
Full-time, non-exempt position.
Pay Range: $25-35 per hr. (Based on experience)
Requires travel & a valid license in good standing (Ohio Driver’s License)
Requires good credit standing (Company Credit Card)
