Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Claims Administrator to join their team in the Lansdale area, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will manage product insurance claims, complaints, and related incidents with precision and professionalism. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a strong background in claims processing and insurance subrogation.
Responsibilities:
• Investigate and assess insurance claims to determine validity and appropriate resolutions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between insurance companies, adjusters, and customers.
• Negotiate settlements and approve payments in accordance with company policies.
• Manage and update the claims database, ensuring timely status updates and accurate records.
• Review and process invoices related to claims and associated expenses.
• Consult with legal counsel and technical experts when necessary to resolve complex cases.
• Prepare internal and external reports related to claims activity and status.
• Assist the Claims department with additional administrative and operational tasks as required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance subrogation claims, preferably within consumer products.
• Familiarity with product liability and product forensics is highly desirable.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as other common office software.
• Prior experience in claims audits and processing is an asset.
