Your Role
As a Physical Therapist, you'll help residents regain strength, mobility, confidence, and independence while playing a key role in their rehabilitation journey.
Responsibilities Include:

Evaluating residents and developing individualized treatment plans

Helping residents improve mobility, balance, strength, and overall function

Utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, stretching, and modalities to reduce pain and restore movement

Educating residents and families throughout the rehabilitation process

Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as appropriate

Assisting residents with proper use of rehabilitation equipment

Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants when required

Collaborating with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams

Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance standards
-
Supporting a safe, clean, and resident-centered environment
Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
-
Current New York State Physical Therapist License
-
Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care experience preferred

Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Passion for helping residents achieve their highest level of independence
