Finance Associate - School of Medicine Responsibilities:
- Review, process, and compile accounting transactions and supporting documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with university policies and applicable regulations.
- Audit financial transactions and related documentation (e.g., journal entries, receipts, authorizations) for consistency and correctness.
- Compile, maintain, and verify financial data and daily reports; generate routine financial summaries and reports.
- Provide customer service support to internal departments regarding financial transactions and university finance policies.
- Assist with procurement card (P-Card) administration, processing of travel cards, and employee reimbursement requests.
Finance Associate - School of Medicine Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, or a related administrative field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency with computerized office and financial systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for working with internal stakeholders.
Shift:
- May require extended hours during peak reporting periods or deadlines.
