RT&T, a joint venture of InDyne, Inc. and Amentum Services, Inc. is the prime contractor to support the Atlantic Range Technical Support Services (ARTSS) for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) headquartered in Patuxent River, MD, and with locations in Maryland, Virginia, and California.
ARTSS supports Atlantic Test Ranges (ATR) and Atlantic Targets and Marine Operations (ATMO) in research and development, engineering, maintenance, operation, support of facilities, systems, and equipment in order to meet the engineering development and operational testing and fleet training missions for some of the world’s premier systems. Our work with the U.S. Navy keeps the warfighter safe by testing systems before they are used in combat, and we are hiring personnel to support this important mission.
General Duties and Functions
o Provide support to the Atlantic Targets and Marine Operations Division
o Responsibilities include but not limited to, general grounds maintenance, sweeping, shoveling, trash cleanup, chipping painting, cleaning trucks, and boats. Also assisting in boat operations, and maintenance on both mechanical and electrical systems.
o Riding large and small vessels in both local waters and off shore, for short and long duration.
o Candidate can expect to be trained to participate in functions beyond normal operations.
o The employees can expect to work varying hours due to our customers' requirements
Requirements
o Physically capable of transferring between vessels at sea.
o Must be able to lift, push, or pull 50lbs.
o Ability to obtain a passport
o Good oral and written communication skills.
o Must be willing to travel for long durations.
o Possess valid state driver’s license, Commercial Driver License is a plus.
o U S Citizenship
o Ability to obtain a US DoD Interim Secret Security clearance. Ability to maintain clearance throughout employment.
o All candidates will be required to pass a Drug Screening.
Education Required:
o High School Diploma or equivalent. Trade school training a plus.
Work Conditions:
The working conditions will vary from working in the maintenance shop and electronics’ shop, to riding large and small vessels in both our local waters and off shore in the fleet operating areas. The environmental conditions will vary due to the nature of the requirements. Majority of the required work will be performed outdoors.
Clearance Requirements:
- Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Security clearance eligibility may be discussed during the interview phase.
- Employment and start date is contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearance
