Schedule: 35 Hours/Week | 3 Days/Week
Shift: 2 x 12-Hour Shifts + 1 x 11-Hour Shift

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced EEG Technologist to perform electroencephalography (EEG) testing in a hospital setting. The EEG Technologist will prepare patients for testing, apply electrodes, operate EEG equipment, maintain accurate records, and ensure high-quality diagnostic studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for EEG examinations

• Apply electrodes and ensure proper placement

• Operate and maintain EEG equipment

• Monitor and identify EEG tracings

• Maintain accurate patient records and test documentation

• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures

• Follow departmental protocols and quality standards

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff

• Maintain equipment and report technical issues as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of EEG Technologist experience

• High School Diploma or GED

• One (1) year of experience as an Electroencephalograph Technician in a hospital or healthcare setting

OR

• Completion of an ABRET-recognized EEG training program

OR

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

• EEG Certification required

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital-based EEG experience

• Strong patient care and communication skills

• Experience working in acute care environments

• Knowledge of neurodiagnostic testing procedures
