Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade in a K-12 school setting. This is a contract role for the upcoming school year, based onsite in Oakland, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligning with students educational goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional input
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with children across the pre-kindergarten to 12th grade spectrum
- Familiarity with school-based therapy practice and educational mandates
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to work onsite full-time and commit to the entire school year contract
